scoobydumblonde, sorry it's not quite Datta but I'm getting closer. ;) This kind've turned into a little bit of a set-up for Datta overall, even though it takes place before Halcyon ends. You probably need to have read Halcyon to get the set-up and backstory, but not the three Datta WiP extracts I posted a while back. Hopefully this'll get everything moving on the Datta front now, since it sets up a couple of things for it. :)
